Beverly Simon is a Boston-based writer and artist, who brings considerable creative talents to teaching. Her background includes more than twenty years writing, directing, and producing award-winning films, on topics related to education, health, and social issues for Children’s Television Workshop, WGBH, corporations, and non-profits, as well as independent films.
She has broad training and experience in print and multimedia communications, writing, and acting, along with a deep interest in film, writing, reading, and listening to stories. She has been teaching Invitation to Memoir at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education for five years and offers classes through her writing center in Jamaica Plain.
She served on the Board of Directors of Boston Children’s Theater and the Shady Hill School in Cambridge.
